2.5x3.5". The 1888 WG1 Baseball Playing Cards set has 72 total cards in the set. It is the oldest catalogued gaming card designated as a WG set in the American Card Catalog.
Henry J. "Handsome Harry" Boyle was a professional baseball player. He was a pitcher over parts of 6 seasons (1884-1889) with the St. Louis Maroons and Indianapolis Hoosiers. He led the National League in ERA in 1886 while playing for the Maroons.
