Item Description
3.25x5" on thick stock. Signed and dated October 21, 1929. During this time, Hughes served as the Judge of the Permanent Court of International Justice, more commonly referred to as the "World Court". Hughes had a distinguished career and served as Governor of New York, was the Republican nominee for President in 1916, served as Secretary of State under both Harding and Coolidge, served twice on the Supreme Court, first as an Associate Justice from 1910-1916, then as Chief Justice from 1930-1941. Only light wear. Exc. Comes w/ JSA COA.
