Item Description
1-7/16x2-5/8". The T205 issue consists of 209 different cards, although just 198 players are represented in the T205 set- a few multiple poses and some variations account for the higher accepted total. Border graphics of varying types, usually incorporating team logos and equipment, identified the respective league. Facsimile signatures crossed a portion of many ballplayers' depictions.
Zachariah Davis Wheat , nicknamed "Buck", was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a left fielder from 1909 to 1927, most notably as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers who were known as the Robins at that time. After 18 seasons in Brooklyn, he played his final season with the Philadelphia Athletics. Zach Wheat was elected to the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1959.
