Item Description
11x22.5" thin paper poster features day-glo colors for vivid black light display. Poster promotes Nov. 24-27, 1977 in-costume appearance of actor Adam West as Batman at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, IN. Of note, West's performance was reviewed unfavorably by local newspapers, who reported that West's monologue went over the heads of many of the children in the audience, some of whom left before West's final act. Poster features Batman portrait at center w/large "Shrine Circus" name above. Poster has some trace edge wear but remains bright and clean. Some scattered small stress marks as once rolled. VF/Exc. Makes for wonderful black light display. Rare and first we've offered.
