Item Description
1.5x2-3/8". 30 cards in the set. Card fronts bear a colorized artist rendering of the respective athlete. A thick, blank border frames all of the elements. The player's name, team, and position are identified in typeset print at the bottom of the frame. Card backs are blank.
Christy Mathewson was a Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher, who played 17 seasons with the New York Giants. Mathewson was top 10 all-time in most pitching categories including wins, shutouts, and earned run average. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1936.
