Item Description
1-3/x3.25". The 1921 W551 baseball card set consists of 10 cards. The unnumbered cards were printed in strips, with each front revealing a color drawing of a National Pastime hero. The player's name and team name are printed in the bottom margin. The backs are blank.
Jesse Lawrence Barnes was an American pitcher in Major League Baseball with the Boston Braves, New York Giants and Brooklyn Robins. Barnes was a two time World Series Champion in 1921 and 1922 and pitched a No-hitter on July 7, 1922.
