Item Description
1.75" w/age toned W&H back paper. Arapaho came into existence April 19, 1892 the day of the Cheyenne and Arapaho land opening. This button is from a July 4 celebration 12 years later and features two girls, in dresses, each holding an American flag on a pole and each holding the leash on a very large raccoon. Top edge has small flat spot above "With" and other light general wear. We don't know how it relates, but in 1990, the raccoon became Oklahoma's official fur bearing animal. VF. One known. Rare.
