Item Description
5.75" long w/safety pin on reverse. Dated August 8, 1900. A reception was held on the 7th at the Grand Hotel in Indianapolis, where Bryan and Stevenson, as well as their wives, were greeted by the welcome committee. A notification parade was held on the 8th that included about two dozen bands and clubs, including: Indianapolis Military Band, Tammany Club, German-American Democratic Club, the Bryan Videttes, Ninth Ward Kern Club, Commercial Travelers Bimetallic Club, the Bryan Stalwarts, and the Liberty Drum Corps, among many others. Some light wear along the top edge, otherwise only minor handling. Extremely Fine. An interesting single-day event ribbon from the 1900 campaign. John Gearhart Collection.
