Item Description
Pamphlet is 6x9". 31 pgs. Eight buttons: .75" to 7/8" in size; two lithos and six cellos. "Pardon Tom Mooney-Innocent" pamphlet published in June 1930. Pamphlet features two portraits of Mooney, one from before his sentence and one 14 years later, showing how prison had aged him. Contents are mostly testimonials from those in favor of releasing Mooney. A few areas of loss on cover, most notably along the top edge, otherwise some traces of soil and moderate handling. Fine. Buttons vary in condition. Of note, the "Associated Labor Organizations Labor Day 1917" pin has aging wear and fading to text. VG; "We Want Mooney" pin has stain at one o'clock and some faint edge spotting. VF; "Free Money, Free Labor" pin has light spotting throughout. Fine; all others have light to moderate wear and are extremely Fine to Exc. A nice grouping featuring the falsely imprisoned labor leader.
