Item Description
Five items in total. Three badges, a pin, and a letter signed by the secretary of the "Bryan's Home-Coming." Letter is 8.5x11". Addressed to a Mr. I. J. Dunn. Dated August 20, 1906 from Omaha, Nebraska. Signed by H. S. Daniel, Secretary of the Bryan committee. Letter has light handling wear. Still Exc. Pin w/brass frame reads "Fairview" the name of Bryan's home. Faint spotting. VF. Badge in upper left has designation reading "Mayor F. W. Brown" who was mayor of Lincoln at the time and his personal badge for the event. Badges show light to moderate wear, most notably the badge in upper right that is separated from the "Welcome Home" souvenir hanger. Badges on left are both extremely Fine. Badge on right is technically Fine, but displays above grade. A historic grouping from the 1906 tour as Bryan prepared for his 1908 presidential run. Larry Brokofsky Collection.
