Item Description
8.5x11" on thin paper. Features striking jugate portraits of the 1912 Progressive ticket. Produced for the Columbia, SC Progressive headquarters. Text above candidates reads "It is a party which springs from the people in answer to the demand that they shall have restored to them the right to rule. We stand at Armageddon, and we battle for the Lord." On reverse is an unrelated letter dated September 13, 1913. Some edge wear and a few stains mostly relegated to the lower left corner. Otherwise moderate handling. Fine. Wayne Otchis Collection.
