Item Description
7" to 8" long. All three are double-sided. Earliest mention of the Dallas Hebrew Protective Association is 1908, and it seems to have existed in the Texas community through the 1920s. Designations on hangers include: Trustee, Treasurer, and Past President. Trustee ribbon has Star of David above text. Fading to blue as well as text. Scattered splits and separations along edges. Black ribbon on reverse is crisp w/only light wear. Treasurer ribbon has vibrant color but a few horizontal separations along edges. "In Memoriam" black ribbon on reverse has light scattered wear. Past President ribbon has only minor silver letter application loss, while reverse has aging wear and scattered separations along the edges and some ribbon surface loss. Overall, the red, white blue sides of ribbons present VG to Fine, while the black memorial sides present extremely Fine to Exc.
