Item Description
Lot of six bagged Ideal puppets, including complete set of five Magilla Gorilla characters plus one color variety. ©1962 Hanna-Barbera. Each puppet is approx. 10.5" tall silk-screened fabric body w/pliable vinyl head (original cardboard body inserts present). Lot includes - Magilla Gorilla, Ricochet Rabbit, Mushmouse, Droop-A-Long Coyote and two Punkin' Puss puppets, one w/pink cloth body, other w/blue cloth body. All have same header card design, showing the Magilla Gorilla characters in the series and each remains factory-sealed, though w/some tears at bottom center of Mushmouse's bag. Header cards have all been punched and show scattered handling wear w/scattered staining to Droop-A-Long Coyote card and .5" tear to top of pink body Punkin' Puss card (which also has price square filled in w/ink). Some rust soiling to staples Packaging is Fine overall. Contents are NM as packaged. Scarce as bagged but rare to find as a complete set. Instant collection. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
