Item Description
38" long w/2.5" dia. Solid wood carving. Cane carved in shape of a umbrella. Carved by John W. Fox. Text carved near top handle reads "Now Keep Us Dry", a reference to supporting and enforcing Prohibition laws. Light scattered scratches and tiny indentations amounting to moderate surface wear. Extremely Fine. Sproul was aligned w/the women's suffrage movement and the temperance/prohibition movement.
