Item Description
15x15" on stock. Art by "Donnell". Produced for the Chicago Chronicle, which ran from 1895-1907. Features a criminal's hand wielding a pistol w/text above reading "Design For Emblem On New York Democratic State Ticket". Likely a reference to Hearst's association w/Tammany Hall and the corruption surrounding the political machine. A few smudges in upper right corner, w/some light scattered staining and handling wear. Overall VF.
