Two pages show actual Marvel comic covers - Captain America #65 and Marvel Comics #47, w/full page devoted to image of Captain America and Bucky. Text deals w/various aspects of comic book production. Book was advertised in Timely Comics (precursor to Marvel Comics) upon publication. Features text illustrations by Ken Bald and profiles on Syd Shores, Mike Sekowsy, Al Jaffee and Martin Goodman as well as a feature on the creation of Captain America. Off-white to white pages. A must have for the Marvel historian.
