6x9.25". 71 pgs. Published in 1848 by Dutton and Wentworth (Boston). Inscribed to "Sidney Brooks Esq." Even aging w/vertical crease along center of cover. Moderate edge wear. Some paper loss along top edge of spine. Fine. John Quincy Adams died on February 23, 1848. At the time of publication, Everett was the President of Harvard, although he also served as Governor of Massachusetts, U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, and the Secretary of State under Millard Fillmore. Comes w/JSA LOA.
