Item Description
Original cardboard box contains 10.5x16.5x5" wide tin litho toy w/built-in key. 1950s. For this toy, Chein used their standard issue Ferris wheel box, which featured the standard version of that toy rather than this Disney version. Box has moderate wear on end flaps as opened; w/extra tape added to bottom and at top. Grease penciling on three panels and some surface paper loss at one corner. VG/Fine. Ferris wheel has six cars, featuring images of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto. Sides of base feature additional Disney character illustrations at Ferris wheel entrance, "Donald's Gallery" game, food stand, etc. This includes Snow White, Three Little Pigs, Pinocchio, Goofy, others. Toy works and as Ferris wheel spins a bell rings. Scattered lt. wear, but remains totally bright and glossy. VF. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
