Item Description
1.25" to 1.5". Each has only light to moderate wear. All are Exc. The Century City protest was a historic demonstration in 1967 saw almost 10,000 people marching outside the Century City Hotel where President Johnson was holding a $1,000 a plate campaign fund raiser. When a group of protestors sat down on the street in front of the hotel, Police Chief Tom Reddin sent orders to use force to disband them. Over 50 arrests were made and the brutality by LAPD officers made national news. The turmoil at the event was instrumental in turning public opinion against the war.
