Item Description
Kit No. 803-100. From a 1960s line of "Hysterical - Historical Greats" (that also included Napoleon and Adolf Hitler, see previous lot), this kit features a caricature of Fidel Castro giving radio speech (to "USSR" microphone) while standing over Russian missile. A hand gestures from the ocean's depths and a sign on the Cuban beach reads "Gitmo." Top side panel has 3/8" seam split to shrinkwrap, o/w box remains factory-sealed w/lt. aging/wear to cellophane. Box shows some lt. aging but is o/w NM. Factory-sealed w/unused contents. High grade example and as nice as these come. Scarce series and rare as still factory-sealed. Janusey Brothers Collection.
