Item Description
2.25" without maker and w/exceptionally wide collet holding fixed horizontal bar pin. There is a matching button for the Cubs and both are likely from their All-Chicago World Series face off in 1906. The White Sox finished the 1906 season w/an AL best 93-58 record before shocking everyone by defeating the powerhouse Chicago Cubs of the NL in the World Series, four games to two. Lovingly referred to as "the hitless wonders", the 1906 White Sox were led by HOF greats: Ed Walsh (SP) and George Davis (SS). Oxidation to the metal back. Moderate surface wear and some traces of discoloration but front remains glossy. Fine. Rare and only the second we've offered in our 57 years.
