Kit No. 800-98. ©1964 Aurora. Second issue box w/"The Madame Tussaud's" name removed from packaging. Aurora had an agreement w/Tussaud's for each model to be approved before release. In the case of the Guillotine model, this approval did not happen, causing Tussaud's to pull their name. "The Chamber Of Horrors" series also raised quite a few eyebrows and the line was canceled after this one kit was made. Classic model kit depicting French troops readying for a beheading. This is the rarer of the two versions (see previous lot). Box remains tightly sealed w/no tears/splits to cellophane. NM. Factory-sealed w/unused contents.
