Item Description
Spinning out of Marvel's highly successful Merry Marvel Marching Society (MMMS), a series of 11 t-shirts were produced and sold through Marvel comics, w/advertisements beginning in Aug. 1965 issues (w/a Captain Marvel shirt being added in 1968). Offered here is the rare "Sgt. Fury And His Howling Commandos" shirt, one of just two shirts not to feature traditional Marvel superheroes (the other being the rare Western characters shirt). This is a men's medium. Tag shows wear, w/bottom featuring "Allison" company name missing. Shirt o/w shows just lt. aging w/one or two faint spots and a tiny snag on back center. VF/Exc. Rare.
