Item Description
7" long. Silk. Dated June 22, 1923. This presidential visit to Kansas City was among Harding's first stops on his 1923 "Voyage of Understanding" tour. Unfortunately he didn't complete his tour of the Western states, as he fell ill in late July and died unexpectedly on August 2, 1923. Ribbon has scattered wear, as well as faint creasing and even aging. Small area of loss along top edge of ribbon. Fine.
