Item Description
16” tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. 1930s, an early version of this toy by J. Chein & Co. Features six individual cars w/illustrations on each side of children enjoying the ride. One side also has smiling face image and name “Hercules.” Nice designs on base including illustrations in front and back of the ride’s entrance w/ticket taker along w/concession stands. Right and left side panels of base feature sideshow attractions. Toy works and ferris wheel spins when wound. Also attached to one side is a spiral disk which spins and strikes a metal bell. Very lt. scattered traces of wear but a bright and glossy example that works well. VF.
