Item Description
1" dia. disc w/hole at top as made and inserted in this are original (but tattered) fabric ribbons. No maker. Front designed like a baseball w/stitches and has tigers head w/text around this. Blank reverse. Nice luster remains. Disc is Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.

The 1934 Detroit Tigers finished in first place in the AL with a record of 101-53 under National Baseball Hall of Fame player/manager Mickey Cochrane. Leading the attack were three future Hall of Fame members, Hank Greenberg (1B), Charlie Gehringer (2B) and Leon "Goose" Goslin (OF). Detroit lost an exciting seven game World Series to the St. Louis Cardinals.
