Item Description
. First is “Bar X Cowboy” 6” long tin litho on horse which has leather ears and tail. By Alps, Japan, 1950s. Box top and bottom are clean and tight, Exc. Toy works w/supplied key and travels along while bobbing up and down and spinning lasso. A few tiny paint nicks as produced. Exc. Next toy is “Windup Monkey The Sheriff.” 7” tall tin litho plush and plastic combination. Has built-in key. By TN/Nomura, Japan, 1950s. Box lid and bottom are clean and tight, colorful and Exc. Toy works and monkey raises and lowers his upper body as a gun-firing sound is produced. Just a few tiny paint nicks. Exc. Third toy is “Hungry Cub Windup.” 5” tall vinyl, cloth and plush toy w/built-in key. By Modern Toys, Japan, 1960s. Comes w/Hungry Cub box from Nomura Toys of the 1950s. Box bottom is tight, lid has corner and side splits but Fine. Toy works and squeaks while tongue goes in and out and bottle is raised back and forth to mouth. An interesting lot of Japanese windups.
