Item Description
2.5x5x4.75” tall tin litho toy w/built-in key comes in triangular box, nicely illustrated. TPS, Japan, 1950s. Box has nice illustrations of different animals in barber shop. Box has aging, tears to side panels and rust on staples in back. Good. Toy depicts mouse as barber with straight razor and brush shaving a rabbit who is in the barber’s chair. The mouse's head moves side to side and both arms move as if lathering and shaving the rabbit. Mouse’s ears are vinyl. NM. Scarce and one of the classic TPS windups.
