Item Description
11” tall cloth body w/compo head and tin hands, feet and cymbals. Germany, 1960s. Marked only w/oval sticker w/”M,” a face of a monkey and “West Germany Original.” Possibly by Carl Toys for the British market. Toy depicts British Army Foot Guard wearing bearskin hat. Toy comes w/key and works when wound and placed back down. Foot-activated switch causes toy to play cymbals and head to move back and forth. Slightest bit of wear to inside of cymbals, a few small pinpoint marks on his cheeks. Clothing bright and clean as is hat. VF to Exc.
