Item Description

The 1946 St. Louis Cardinals club finished in first place in the National League with a record of 98-58 under manager Eddie Dyer. The offense was led by a trio of future National Baseball Hall of Fame members: Stan Musial (1B), Red Schoendienst (2B) and Enos Slaughter (OF). St. Louis defeated the Boston Red Sox in an exciting seven game series to become the 1946 World's Champions.
