1.25" dia. w/loop at top and high relief design. Raised text around rim, center of baseball w/Uncle Sam hat and bat logo plus Yankees name. Unmarked but made by Balfour. Comes in original plastic case w/lid text "Greetings From The Yankees" along w/team logo. Mickey Mantle's career reached another level on May 14, 1967, when he hit his 500th home run vs. the Baltimore Orioles. By sheer coincidence, that date also happened to be Mother's Day, 1967, and the Yankees handed out this medallion to commemorate the day. Case lid has cracks. Medallion is Exc. w/nice luster.
