Item Description
As flattened 7/8 x 1-18" with band tips still sealed. The embossed paper would open easily for the insertion of a modern day cigar about .75" in diameter. He is pictured in stark b/w above the title he held "Chief Judge" ( of the New York Court of Appeals), from Jan. 1, 1898 until 8/5/1904, about a month after his nomination at the DNC in St. Louis. Creases right and bit harder on left as stored flattened  for over 100 years. Paper remains glossy and supple.
