Wilson Official NFL (Rozelle) Super Bowl XXI football has been boldly signed in silver paint pen by former New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms, who has added "#11" jersey number and "S.B. XXI M.V.P." notations. Ball has some lt. scattered aging/wear but signature remains strong. Exc. Comes w/glossy 8x9-78" photo of Simms about to pass the ball. Photo has been signed at bottom center in blue felt tip pen. Some lt. rippling w/piece of tape on back at top center. VF/Exc. Great signed pair to display together. Comes w/JSA LOA and COA.
Simms is a Giants legend, playing his entire NFL career (1979-1993) w/the team. A member of the Giants Ring Of Honor, his #11 jersey was retired by the team. A two-time Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl XXI MVP, Simms holds Super Bowl records including - highest completion percentage in a Super Bowl (minimum 14 pass attempts) and highest passer rating in a Super Bowl (minimum 14 pass attempts): 150.9, both in Super Bowl XXI.
