Item Description
1-7/16x2-5/8". The T205 issue consists of 209 different cards, although just 198 players are represented in the T205 set- a few multiple poses and some variations account for the higher accepted total. Border graphics of varying types, usually incorporating team logos and equipment, identified the respective league. Facsimile signatures crossed a portion of many ballplayers' depictions.

Hal Chase (1883-1947) was a major league first baseman for teams including the Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants and 1916 National League batting champion. Chase was accused of throwing games and he was blackballed from the major leagues in 1919 and effectively thrown out of organized baseball by 1921.
