Item Description
5.5" long overall. Features portraits of Taft and Captain John Ericcson, the Swedish-American inventor of the ironclad, USS Monitor. Reverse of medal has text reading "Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Battle Between the Monitor and Merrimac. March 9th 1862-1912." Medal and handling have only light wear.
