Item Description
1-1/8" litho featuring 1934-1935 image of Flash Gordon wearing a winged helmet as he appeared when introduced in his January, 1934 Sunday comic strip. This "Flash Gordon Club" was sponsored by the "Chicago Herald And Examiner" newspaper and button was made by Geraghty & Co. of Chicago as noted on the curl. There are a few near microscopic tiny paint dots off and one blending .25" long vertical very light scratch by cheek and helmet edge.  For a litho button  90 years old, this is very minor and these are rarely found nicer. Super clean and Exc. . Scarce.
