Item Description
3.75x9". Paper. Below the eagle and shield motif are the names of the state's electors. Also listed on ticket was Charles T. O'Ferrall. O'Ferrall was a Democrat who served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He was defeated in his 1872 bid for Congress, but was elected to Congress in 1884, and later served as Virginia Governor from 1894-1898. Small horizontal tear along right edge below text on bottom right side. Faint diagonal stain on "Republican Ticket". Crease in bottom right corner. tiny 1/16" hole in center. Otherwise moderate surface wear and handling. Fine.
