Item Description
4.75x12". Features star at top w/ "Union" in center. Prior to his election, John A. Andrew provided legal counsel for John Brown after the Harper's Ferry Raid in 1859 and Andrew was viewed as a radical abolitionist. He won his gubernatorial election in 1860, and was a leading force in the efforts of enlisting African Americans into the Union Army during the Civil War. Some minor tears along the edges amounting to light surface wear, otherwise light handling. Extremely Fine.
