Item Description
1.75" marked on curl by maker Russell Mfg. Co. of Wakefield, Mass. This version has close up photo portrait (the other variety has a totally different photo of him and shows more of his jersey but text on button is the same). Couple of tiny age dots on rim curl but front surface remains bright, clean and glossy. Trace of age to metal back. VF. Scarce and desirable Celtics item.

Cousy played for the Celtics 1950-1963. He was a 13-time All-Star, NBA MVP and six-time Assist Leader. Cousy was the offensive catalyst, leading the Boston Celtics of the 1950s and 1960s to six NBA titles, teaming with fellow HOFer, Bill Russell to form one of the top combos in NBA history. Bob was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1971.
