1.25". Phila. Badge Co. back paper. Rim text reads "Lew Ayres In The Spirit Of Notre Dame/A Universal Picture" and at center is portrait photo of Ayres who portrayed "Bucky O'Brien." The film featured both Hollywood actors and actual football players including The Four Horsemen: Don Miller, Elmer Layden, Jim Crowley and Harry Stuhldreher. Knute Rockne died in plane crash while flying to the West Coast to serve as a technical advisor for the production of this film. The film was subsequently dedicated to him. Glossy, Exc.
