Item Description
22x24", Nov. 24, 1929. The boys conspire to play cards and their plans backfire. Art was purchased years ago from art animation dealer Stuart Reisbord who attributes this as an art piece ghosted for Fisher by George Herriman. Note the crescent moons in seven panels, a typical Herriman trademark. Lt. age dust to margins, notation in pencil at top reads "Mutt And Jeff-And Such A Beautiful Moonlight Night By Bud Fisher." Bright colors, beautiful detail. VF.
