Item Description
2.75" overall w/vertical stickpin on reverse of brass eagle hanger. DeWitt HS 1868-17. Ferro portrait of the Democratic nominee in frame featuring eagle at top and text along bottom reading "E Pluribus Unum." Ribbon has some fading and even aging, most notably on red stripe. Portrait is crisp and striking. Only light wear w/watery sheen in reflected light. Overall Exc. A high grade example of this attractive 1868 badge.
