First Comics. May 1987 - April 1991. Complete run of 45. Lone Wolf and Cub is a Japanese manga series created by writer Kazuo Koike and artist Goseki Kojima. First published in 1970. Lone Wolf and Cub was initially released in North America in a translated English edition by First Comics in 1987. The monthly series of comic-book-sized issues featured covers by Frank Miller, Bill Sienkiewicz, Matt Wagner, Mike Ploog, and Ray Lago. First Comics shut down in 1991 without completing the series, publishing less than a third of the total series with just these 45 issues. All first printings. Prestige format, square bound issues. Lt. aging/handling wear. Overall complete run is VF w/some higher and few lower. Raw issues sold as is, no returns.
