Item Description
13" wide by 9.5" tall © 1936. Fabric bag has leather wrapped metal handle (w/old repair), leather straps and metal buckles. Center flap on bag front reads "Buck Rogers/Wilma Deering/© 1928-1936 John Dille Co." Red/blue/green images of Buck and Wilma appear in lower corners. Upper corners show attack ship and atomic pistol. Upper portion has external pencil pocket. Bag is flattened w/obvious splits and wear, not affecting images of Buck and Wilma or text. Overall VG. Even the most advanced Buck collectors are missing this item. Offered in Cream of Wheat for 70¢ plus a coupon. Except for a complete uniform, this item tied for second most costly of items being offered at that time. This is the only example we know of. Images are VF.
