Item Description
1.25". Depicting full figures of TR in safari outfit clasping the hand of Uncle Sam who embraces him w/an arm around the shoulder. The slogan "Welcome From Elba" eludes to the island where Napoleon was in exile. The rarity of this button is likely due to it being available only for the ceremonies held June 18, 1910 following his ship docking in New York City. High gloss w/vibrant color. Only light wear in reflected light. NM. A superb specimen.
