Item Description
11x14" illustration board has nice tempera w/pen and ink illustration showing Captain Marvel w/wizard Shazam. The famous heroes Captain Marvel gets his powers from are outlined in upper right corner-Solomon (wisdom), Hercules (strength), Atlas (stamina), Zeus (power), Achilles (courage), Mercury (speed). Text at bottom reads "Drawn Especially For Snuff Garrett By C. C. Beck-Christmas, 1977." Garrett is reknowned Los Angeles record producer. 1/8x.5" streak of discoloration at top right corner, lt. margin wear, all of which could be easily matted out for a Mint display.
