Item Description
Badge is 4" dia. Holed at top as made w/string attached for suspension. Union bug at bottom Double-side. Text reads "Official/Massachusetts United Labor/Stevenson/Dever/Kennedy." Some wear on reverse on the "V" in "Dever" otherwise only light handling. Palm card is 3x5" on stock. Union bug in bottom right corner. Text at top reads "With Faith In Democratic America." Stray red ink mark just below second "N" in "Stevenson". Otherwise only light wear. Both are extremely Fine. Dever lost a close election to Christian Herter, while Kennedy won a hotly contested battle against Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. John Hillhouse Collection.
