9" long. Silk. Features bald eagle symbol at the top w/circle below. Text reading "For A Straight Ticket Mark Within This Circle." Below are the names of the Republicans running for state office in New York in 1898, most notably Theodore Roosevelt for Governor and Timothy L. Woodruff for Lt. Governor. Also includes candidates running for Secretary of State, Comptroller, Treasurer, etc. Horizontal crease above "Edward A. Bond". Small hole along right edge of straight ticket circle. Otherwise a few areas of thinness and moderate handling. Fine. A scarce pre-presidential TR item.
