Item Description
Each is 7/8". The LaFollette has some of back paper missing, otherwise all have W&H back papers. Coolidge and Davis were the Republican and Democratic nominees, respectively, while LaFollette ran on an independent Progressive ticket. McAdoo was a Democratic hopeful in 1920 and 1924. He was the son-in-law of Woodrow Wilson and was the leading contender for the nomination in 1924. However, a contentious Democratic Convention against rival Al Smith led to both McAdoo and Smith withdrawing from the nominating process, leading to Davis's nomination. Coolidge has slight even aging and hairline crack along Coolidge's temple. VG. Davis and LaFollette have only light wear and are Exc. McAdoo has only trivial wear and is NM. A nice grouping of matching designs for the major political figures of the 1924 campaign.
