Lot of three envelopes containing ten different stories published in three different issues of comic book c. 1950s. Issue numbers and stories include: 17 - "Road to Courage" (w/7 pages), "Operation Hairpin" (w/6 pages); 18 - "The Missing Air Ace" (w/8 pages), "Cloud Crazy" (w/7 pages), "Secret Airbase" (w/8 pages), "'Copter Mission" (w/7 pages); 19 - "Mock Air Combat" (w/9 pages), "Toast To A Hero" (w/6 pages), "Operation Brain Wash" (w/7 pages), "Stand By For...Crackup" (w/8 pages). Pages typically measure 6.5x9.5" and are acid-treated photostats that have been colored w/Dr. Martin dyes. These colored pages were then used as a guide for finalized comic book pages. Most stories deal w/air warfare and several stories devoted to the Korean War. Pages have usual notations and wear from production and are Exc. overall. Each issue comes w/original 9x12" production envelope which have varying degrees of handling wear.
